Creative Idea Leading To Actions

About

Hello, I am Oxana Motorina. I’m a Ukrainian born, Gulf-based, independent creative director, specialising in branding communications and multimedia production.

In 2018, I founded OMotorina Branding Communications to develop and further evolve my ability to create a real visual impact for companies and products: not just meeting, but exceeding clients’ marketing goals and their advertising needs – through digital, print, and film installation.

I have produced hundreds of successful multimedia projects and established great relationships with a broad range of clients in different business areas.

For me, it is the relationship that forms the basis of my work: getting to know a client’s needs, aspirations and hopes. Based on those relationships, with dedication and a history of successful delivery, I have managed to build a bank of trust and a reputation for quality and reliable delivery.

Trust, quality and delivery, while critically important, aren’t enough in this industry: creativity is essential. New ideas, different ways of seeing things, and innovative approaches in conveying information into a visual and meaningful way.

Creativity is my passion. And it has allowed me to develop relationships with a wide range of people from all walks of life, from the arts, from business and, of course, from sport.

I’ve been in the industry for over 18 years, working in media production, advertising agencies, and well known high-profile regional event companies.

Having filled creative roles as diverse as stage director to event specialist, projects manager to a film director, graphic designer to an interior designer, video editor to a motion graphic artist, my ever-evolving skillset is a testament to my life of curiosity, and a dedication to learning.

I have a passion for learning. I’m always seeking to develop and upgrade my professional and technical skills.

After graduating as a drama stage director, I produced several drama performances at a professional theatre, as well as organising and leading theatrical productions, regional events like district talent shows and musical performances.

Identifying the talents of young actors and musicians and helping them to develop their skills was one of the most satisfying parts of my role then – and one I still use today. As a project leader I identify the skill sets needed and find the right talents to deliver the product.

Working at leading event management companies, I have specialised in organising the creative and production teams: delivering numerous high-profile events, including world sporting tournaments, award ceremonies, olympiads, and many other national events.

In the last decade, much of my work has been in media production usually as the creative and film director, producer, and projects manager in production companies and advertising agencies.

As a highly motivated, self-starter, always seeking to learn and develop, I have upgraded my technical skills to an expert level in using creative suite software: Ps, Ai, In, Pr, Ae, and 3Ds Max, which makes me to produce a visual content on my own: from idea development to its actual implementation.

Constantly collaborating with talented specialists, including writers, animators, editors, and other technical production experts, empowered my confidence in overseeing almost any type of multimedia projects.

But it isn’t just the creative process: with a post-production network in place – a business partnership with a digital printing factory and manufacturer with a fit-out facility, I can manage interior projects from the sketch to design to development and production stages. A one-stop shop!

Those experiences have re-enforced my belief in the importance of education and kindness. So, I am active in volunteering to help those less fortunate. I believe creativity helps us understand each other, and respond to the needs of all.
